So Birchbox has an interesting informational strategy to provide awareness to its’ new Men’s offering (an offering we here at BBR are very familiar with)… convince your wives/girlfriends to require/suggest that you get it. This month with every Birch Box for women a vile of the Varvatos scent that all us guys got was included. 
In all seriousness this is a great way to bring awareness to what has been to date an interesting novelty type experience for guys. It’s an interesting approach to turn all those $10/month subscriptions into a $30/month subscription. It’s still unclear how subscription dollars translate to the bottom line for birch box given the new box type, but this presents the opportunity to triple revenues. The question of the hour is will you get guys to pay $20/month for this ongoing. Do I hear couples deal?
