Hence forth it can never be said that Birchbox does not recognize the error of their ways or make good when such a recognition is made.
Keraastase Homme Capital Force Shampoo ($30 @ Amazon)

Some sort of bumps happened in the process last month and the generally generous sample that would usually come out for a shampoo was a stingy packet. They made it up in a big way with this HUGE sample, sans any Romney Refferences. It's so big you almost could not bring it on an Airplane! Yup 2.7 ounces. So we have covered the quantity of this month's sample, how about the quality. It's a nice product. It smells a little funny (different funny not bad funny) but hey, we're guys and we're pragmatic. If it gets the job who cares about the details. The question of the hour, of course, is how did this bump happen. Did Birchbox go back to Kerastase to get a more generous sample or did Birchbox have trouble working with Kerastase to source the samples in time? This has very different implications for how we look at BB in the long run. Did they bumble the receipt of product or did they strong arm a customer to get more shwag for their subscribers? It's a story that we may never be privy too.
